Overview
The Lara Chamber of Commerce & Industry Inc. is the only business group dedicated solely to Lara and district businesses and we are proud to have been serving the Lara businesses and community for over 30 years. We currently boast over 80 members with a mixture of new and established businesses represented. Anyone with ABN and business with a base in the Lara region is welcome. we can all learn and grow from each others experience.
Our events are focused on relevant business news in the region, business development, mentoring and community support.
The Chamber's operations are led and managed by a volunteer committee of local business representatives elected from within the Chamber's own membership.
Committee Goals 2021

Increase membership base and facilitate networking opportunities for members.

Increase member involvement at events by offering education and business support relevant to them. Aim to have every member attend at least one event in 2021. Free new member event in January.

Assist progressive business development and tourism in the Lara region.

Create a proactive environment where local businesses are supporting and connected with the community, including a signature event/ fundraiser In June.
