Founders Dinner event & Extroadnary General Meeting

As a part of our next event (Founders & Co on Tuesday the 18ths of May 2021 at 6pm) we plan to also have an extraordinary general meeting to vote on changing the dates of the financial year for the Lara Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The changes will bring the financial year for the chamber in line with the normal financial year.

Proposed change

The current financial year for the chamber of commerce is 1st of October in each year to the 30th of September the succeeding year.

The proposed change would have the chamber commencing on the 1st of July each year to the 30th of June the succeeding year.

To change the dates, the committee is required to notify all members of the chamber no less than 14 days before the extroadinary general meeting and on the night to have a vote that requires a simple majority to make the change.
